  1. 11 is my favorite! He's the most "alien" of the new series Doctors. Matt Smith is an incredible actor and captures the Doctor's character completely!

  2. 10 is my favorite. I got introduced to the show when he was the doctor, and since then, I've always associated him with the role. I love his quirks, his talking, his hair, and especially how angsty/sad/angry/human he gets in a some of the more tear-jerking episodes. I cried a lot during his last episode, and I couldn't get the heart to watch any of 11's episodes (I've gotten over than now, though!). Anyway, 10 will always be MY doctor. :)

  3. My favorite Doctor is 10. You always remember your first Doctor. He broke my heart with his humanity , with his farewell tour and his last words of I don"t want to go. And he introduced me to Weeping Angels.

  4. My favorite is 9! He was my first Doctor and the one that got me hooked. I loved his dark, gritty side and how he pretended to feel less emotion than he did. And his line in The Doctor Dances-- "EVERYbody LIVES!!" That's probably my all-time favorite episode.

  5. As much as I may be in the minority, I absolutely adore 9 - he is and shall always be "My" Doctor. Christoper Eccleston was just... well, amazing does not even begin to do him justice. His Doctor had so many characteristics that simply "spoke" to me, not least of which would be his sass. That man... that alien Time Lord's sassy attitude was simply off any chart on any realm, in any time and/or dimension. Essentially, everyone has their own and 9 is mine.

  6. Doctor 10 is my favorite doctor. He wasn't my first Doctor but he was the one that got me hooked to the show, He had such a tender side to him and had such great hair! Haha Alonzyy!

  7. My favorite is 10! David Tennant played the role brilliantly and made 10 "THE" Doctor. I found 10 to be more quirky and witty than the others. Plus, the best looking. ;) Still love 9 and 11 though! :)

  8. David Tennant as #10 is my favorite. He is the one that hooked my on the series, with his mix of quirky humourous nerdyness, brooding darkness, and the doomed romance between him and Rose.

  9. I like David Tennant (10). I like him for his crazy eyes, compassionate side, and his eccentricities...and i am trying to post but do not see my self appearing...so this is CherryCoke Fizzy

  10. 10 is my favorite. He was raw, emotional. He made me love the show and I loved his honesty and I hated to see him go.

10! I got hooked with 9, and I was VERY upset when he changed to 10....and then I fell so hard in love with 10. Plus, I find him to be crazy good-looking and wonderfully zany in a genius kind of way.
though, to be honest, I haven't had a chance to watch any with 11 in it yet....

  12. #10 is my favorite. I loved he he was nerdy, witty and cheeky, yet had a slight menacing quality, too. He also has a real intensity that I identify with.

  13. 11 is my doctor. I love the whimsy he brings to the character.

    ReplyDelete
  14. 9 is my favourite because he was the first doctor I watched and I love that he looked like a very serious person but he was easy going and quick with the smiles.

    ReplyDelete
  15. The Tenth Doctor is the one that made the action intense and also pulled at my heart strings. I was really sad to see him go.

  16. Why do I have to pick just one? 9, 10 and 11 each brought/bring something special to The Doctor. I thought no one could replace Eccleston. Then I thought...oh no way can anyone replace Tennant. I will feel the same if they replace Smith. But being the "mature" woman that I am...The 4th Doctor, Tom Baker, will always be the #1 Doctor in my life.

  17. I love 10 because he introduced me to the series, I can clearly remember my first episode like it was yesterday!

  18. I haven't seen it yet but I hear such good things about the series. So I might watch it if I have time!

  19. While I love the 10th and 11th Doctors as well, the 9th is "my" Doctor. He was The Doctor when I first started watching the show and I loved his progression from extreme anger/sadness to acceptance and even joy. His "everybody lives!" scene is just fantastic.

  20. Well, I´m no hardcore fan and I ´m not acquainted with all of the doctors (none of 9, 10, 11) but the one I like the most is 3. On the Sci-Fi channel at home the daytime telly was reruns of the 3d Doctor and that is some awesome daytime televison!

  21. 11 is my Doctor ^_^ He was my first Doctor and quite honestly my favourite. Nine is a close second because he was just so quirky-funny, but I like 11's more dark-funny sense of humor. I'm crossing my fingers one day for a Donna/11 meeting! Plus, how can anyone NOT love someone who dances like a baby giraffe <3

  22. The 10th Doctor..what a cutie!! (:

    ReplyDelete
  23. David Tennant (10) is my favourite because of his enigmatic personality and the way he shows his emotion. He is also quite hilarious and easily one of the most lovable doctors!

  24. When I was growing up in England I enjoyed watching the very beginning of the Dr. Who series on the old black and white telly. The current Dr. is always my fav as it's what goes on around the Dr. that has me hooked.

    ReplyDelete
  25. I haven't seen the new Dr. Who yet... it's on my things-to-watch list. XD But when I was little, my dad and I used to watch the old Dr. Who series together. I always really liked Tom Baker because he was so quirky and had that funky scarf! :)

  26. The 9th doctor is my favourite, because he was straightforward, direct, and tough. The 10th doctor, although totally hot, is a bit wishy washy for my tastes. I haven't had the opportunity to watch the 11th doctor yet.

    ReplyDelete
  27. The 10th doctor was definitely "my" Doctor. During his run an episode could range from hilarious to heart-breaking and always feel right, more so than in any other period of the show I've watched. 10 was clever and sometimes vulnerable and always a joy to watch.

    ReplyDelete
  28. 10 was my favourite. I felt more of a visceral connection to him than 9 (who introduced me to the series). I think it was his range - from heartbreakingly vulnerable to downright hilarious!

  29. Love Doctor #10, but #11 is growing on me. This show has everything, I am just now catching up on season 6 yikes!

    ReplyDelete
  30. Nine is my favorite. While the others can be silly and hilarious, it covers an intensity and darkness that, while brilliant, is frankly terrifying. Nine, on the other hand, despite his horror at the Time War, is genuine. He can be gruff, but people tend to forget that most of the time he's happy! I love his energy and determination and goodness and faith in the face of the impossible. And of course, I love his love for Rose.

  31. So far (I've been watching the show on Netflix with my family), my favorite is Doctor #9. His slightly dry humor sets me at ease, and through his own personal darkness light shines. (Doctor #10 is starting to grow on me, though.) :)

  32. David Tennant was my favourite since he was the first I ever watched (being in Hong Kong at that time ^^), I till remember the face of the Weeping Angels T^T

  33. Unbelievably, have somehow missed ever catching an ep of Dr Who -- despite having besties who adore the series -- and the premise being kind of the most amazing ever. I suspect it's because -- and I know this is massive treason -- I'm not wild abt David Tennant.

As a devoted small perfumer addict, so grateful a friend linked to your giveaway -- am now happily following you and browsing your other offerings! Your gothic and ancient worlds collections have me squeeing like a crazy thing! :)

  34. Ten is my doctor. Everything about him was awesome, and David Tennant played him perfectly. I also think Ten's episodes were better than Eleven's (not saying I don't adore Eleven, because wah, I do).

    ReplyDelete
  35. I really can't make up my mind between Ten and Eleven, of the modern Doctors! If truly pressed, I'd have to say .... Eleven. I think. %D

    ReplyDelete
  36. I would have said 10, but I'm really like the complexity they are showing with 11 . . . so I'll say 11.

    ReplyDelete
  37. Fun contest! I was much more a Blakes 7 fan, but have watched some Who too! I like 9 because for me he had more of a dark dramatic substance to him. I also really like the frizzy-haired Who, the one who looked a lot like Gene Wilder.

    ReplyDelete
  38. I have never seen doctor who but my friend is a HUGE fan, so she's talked me into watching it soon. These perfumes would make a great gift for her, though!

  39. The 10th Doctor! He wasn't my first doctor but he's so eccentric and funny, he has to be my favourite. His emotional depth is wonderful. He could also be very dark at times, which is something I feel the 11th Doctor lacks slightly.

    ReplyDelete
  40. It's such a tricky question for me because 9 introduced me to the world of Doctor Who, and 11 has grown on me and know he's the one prominent in my mind, but I'm going to say 10 because he's the one I remember taking me on a roller coaster of feelings. And I absolutely LOVE Donna Noble.

  41. I'm glad that I decided to check this post again to read any new comments because my previous comment appears to have been eaten by aliens! (Oh Doctor, could you do something about it?)

Its so hard to choose which doctor is my fave because they're all amazing... And technically the same doctor actually! But if forced to choose, my answer for today would be the 9th doctor. (Fantastic!) Probably because the last episode I watched was a 9th episode, and also likely influenced by his leather jacket. I mean... Who doesn't love leather jackets? ;)

  42. The 11th Doctor, Matt Smith, is my doctor. I love everything about him; he's whimsical, he wears an awesome bow tie, he has adorably swishy hair. He may seem harmless on the outside, but watch out bad guys cause he also kicks ass! Fish custard was amazing, and I squealed like a little girl when he got to meet the human incarnation of the Tardis. So awesome!

  43. Though 9 was my frist Doctor, 10 will always hold a special place in my heart. We see so many different sides of him as he evolved and David Tennant brought so much to his character by pouring his heart and soul into his work.
